Our work with LJMU
LJMU’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) team have commissioned us to deliver several programmes for their staff.

We ran ‘From Strengths to Transformation’, a bespoke development programme for disabled staff in 2015, 2016, 2018 and 2022-23. This offered three group workshops and three individual coaching sessions. Coaching was offered by phone or video conference in the two latter programmes if participants preferred. The programme promoted a strengths-based approach to personal development and supported participants to develop resilience to thrive in the workplace.

We also ran three specialist workshops in 2018, 2019 and 2020 for managers, programme leaders and personal tutors of staff/students with disabilities or long-term health conditions. These covered the social model of disability, active listening and the best ways to support their colleagues’ and students’ development.

In 2024 we were commissioned to produce the university’s first Workplace Reasonable Adjustments Passport (WRAP) – an accessible clear document to record and explain adjustments any member of staff needs, including the delivery of three workshops for HR staff, managers and all interested staff.
