I am a social entrepreneur, and community development coach and facilitator, activist, TEDx speaker, and artist.

As a former refugee and a Middle Eastern queer person of colour, I experienced many shades of uprootedness and otherness. These experiences shaped my deep understanding and empathy for the struggles of minoritised groups in society, igniting a flame of passion and purpose within me to foster a more compassionate, equitable and connected world.

My career was marked by founding Integr8 UK, a social enterprise that ran for seven years while I lived in South Devon. The enterprise supported people from global majority backgrounds to foster a sense of belonging in rural parts of South Devon.

Today, as a facilitator and coach, I extend my expertise to empower fellow community builders, facilitators, and social entrepreneurs across the UK. Working for and collaborating with esteemed organizations and through my own venture,Together, I devote myself to guiding the creation of impactful and sustainable community projects and enterprises.

As an artist, activist, and public speaker, I utilize diverse platforms to address issues of social justice, identity, and belonging. In my TEDx talk, 'From Seeking Asylum to Seeking Purpose,' I shed light on some of these issues while sharing my 18-year journey of seeking asylum.

I aspire to a compassionate, equitable, and connected world where belonging is not a privilege but a birthright.
